New City Media employees took a day off to work on a project house with Habitat for Humanity. We unshackled ourselves from our desk jobs and decided to do some heavy lifting for charity. We divided into teams to handle such tasks as shingling a roof, cleaning up a job site, installing windows, framing, sheathing, pouring foundations, and we are happy to say we escaped with only minor injury to ourselves and others.
