You talk about experience design on your site. Don’t you just build cool interactive stuff?
Everything’s an experience. Whether people are coming to a website or encountering a flash mob, they should be rewarded for their time with entertainment, knowledge or both. What we really like to do is blur the lines between real and interactive experiences. Either way, it’ll be memorable.
Is experience design right for every campaign?
Sure is. You’re trying to reach real people, right? That’s what it’s all about.
Can we hand NewCity our designs and just have you all build it?
No.
Really? This project is pretty complex and cool. We could really use your help.
Well, maybe. We do have some pretty amazing programmers and production folks, but they work almost exclusively on our own projects. We’ll be happy to show them yours, and if they get all googly-eyed over it, then we’ll probably do it.
How quickly can you all work on our project?
That depends. Are you working on a tight deadline? If so, there’s a good chance we can help you out and make something great. But if you’re asking about how long we prefer to have to work on a project (thank you, by the way) we generally like to have time to dig through your existing research or conduct our own, a couple weeks to concept and 10 weeks for production. So, let’s say 3-4 months to really make the magic happen.
Man, we have this totally awesome idea, but we’re not sure how doable it is. Can you help us figure it out?
Absolutely. And you know what? If the original idea doesn’t work out, we can help you come up with something that will. And we promise, it’ll be just as awesome.
Does NewCity offer search engine optimization and marketing? None of this really matters if no one can find it, right?
We sure do. We watched one too many clients get taken for a ride by keyword copy junkies. That’s when we decided to put together our own team to handle this oh so important aspect of your business.
Does NewCity do viral?
Funny thing about viral, any dad with a video camera can do it. Which basically just proves that anything can be the next big thing, no matter where it comes from. So we don’t call it viral, we call it being the very best partner we can possibly be and doing the very best work we can possibly do. We truly believe that if those two things can happen, the rest will take care of itself.
We’ve got all this online media bought, we’re thinking banners, rich media, cool Flash stuff.
Ok, we hear you. We love cool stuff online. But like anywhere else, the key is to make sure it’s relevant to the brand and makes the best use of the media. There are rich media companies that can make pretty much anything happen, but our motto is just because you can, it doesn’t mean you should.

Our philosophy on creative is that constraint, when appropriate, will always make an idea better. So let’s talk about what it is you want to use that online media for; then we can all figure out how many bells and whistles, if any, we need to attach.
What do you charge?
It would be great if we could give you a flat cost right here, but the thing is that every project’s different. Sure, we have some rates and charges we could quote you, but we’d much rather have a conversation with you about your budget and then figure out where to go from there.
