In 1995 David had the crazy notion to build a company that was the sort of place where he’d always wanted to work. Especially since he couldn’t find a job as a web designer. Today New City Media is that place.
David graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a degree in Graphic Design. It only took six years! The first two and a half years he spent studying aerospace engineering weren’t a total waste, since he learned enough programming and techie stuff to be dangerous.
David’s role at NCM can best be described as a player/coach. He’s our chief information architect and usability guru, and usually leads two or three of our larger projects. He also teaches seminars on web development and content creation.
Outside the office David enjoys hiking, playing with his kids, playing Settlers of Catan, guitar, biking and working with the teens from his church.
As long as he has the latest Apple laptop, he’s pretty much happy.
