John Williams

Flash Developer

In his eleven years as a web developer, John Williams has done everything from graphic design to web application development. Before joining NCM in 2007, John worked for several non-profits and federal government agencies including the Library of Congress and AARP.

John has a BA in English from Virginia Tech, dreamed of becoming an ice cream truck driver when he grew up and frequently indulges a penchant for bad movies (Roger Moore’s “The Man Who Haunted Himself” is a recent favorite). Luckily for us, and our clients, he also loves to solve problems — problems, not puzzles! That makes him a stickler for accessibility issues and user experiences in the sites we build.

A huge fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (a true showcase of bad cinema), the owner of 2 cats, some fish and now the Daddy of an adorable baby boy, John possesses what is quite possibly the largest lava lamp in existence. With this many assets (plus some mad developing skills) how could he not be an invaluable member of the happy little home we call New City Media?
